Teamwork: A Journal Entry

Over the last 5 months I have gone from working remotely as a web designer, to being self-employed (unemployed) to working as part of a team in an office environment. I have found that I prefer the team environment and imagine it as being a single flower blooming happily amidst a garden of other lovely blooms.

Each bloom in this garden is wonderful and unique. But together, as a garden, they become something more than they might ever achieve standing alone.

The photo of the ballerinas was already on the page and was my inspiration for this entry. When I think of ballerinas I think of a ‘Prima ballerina’. I forget that, although standing out from the group in the position of ‘Prima’, ultimately their success is still dependent upon the whole of the troupe.
