If you are a regular here then you probably know of Teesha Moore’s new videos and how much I like her journal work. I purchased one of her prints to hang in my studio months ago.
Recently Teesha, with the help of her husband, have been putting together instructional videos on how Teesha creates her pages. I have been playing with those tips / tricks in my journal over this weekend (I’ve been under the weather and this is easy to do while sick).
Without further ado here are my pages from this weekend:

I love the vibrancy of your colors, your paintings are incredible, love them Christy xxx

Thanks Dawn. A lot of that vibrancy comes from the oil pastels. You have to try them. You can get a student grade (that is what I am using in my journals) for just a few pounds (heh I said pounds instead of dollars although maybe you use the euro now?) and play. another thing is giving the pages a wash of another color like the nickel azo gold that I use so much. it gives everything a retro / aged look and yet makes the underlying color glow.
