Gulfsprite

I have two journal portraits in progress and a new canvas portrait that I have just started. Not sure anything will be completed before the holidays. I get distracted and pulled away with holiday things to do. Here are the two portraits I am painting in my art journal right now:

I have been working on this one for about a week now. I just keep stopping and starting with it. Her hair really needs work but instead of doing that I have moved on to this one:

It’s as if I reach a certain point and loose focus. Maybe I should do something different for a bit. Perhaps another abstract?

I hear that Santa might bring me new canvases to paint on so maybe by then I will be ready to paint something fully. Until then I will just play with bits and pieces.
