Day 20 of #draw365 Anatomy 101, No Laughing

I do wish however, that I could draw the entire figure occasionally. So today’s drawing is just that. Now, no laughing at me. And yes, I can hear you snickering!
I’m pretty sure the feet wouldn’t look like that if they were standing. Just think of them as laying on a gurney or something. Ok, so that probably would not look that way then either. It time to get out the dreaded drawing instruction book again. That book intimidates the hell out of me.
Well there you have it. Day 20 and still kicking.
And alright, you can laugh, a little. I’m going back to working on my abstract painting of the moment.

Do you ever drop in on figure drawing sessions? I always see at least a couple a week around my area advertised, where for a small fee you show up at an art league that has a model and you get to do some figure sketching for a couple of hours. I’ve been thinking of going just so that I can get some practice in on some more obscure poses than what I can find in magazines or remember from memory. And no snickering here – it’s great that you are still going strong with this project!

Ok ladies…you don’t have to go to a class…you have a “captive audiance”…all you need is a full length mirror…no one has to know that it is you…just take off your clothes and pose for your self…trust me you can do it…it works great…Now lets talk about these drawings…I will addmit (unlike Dawn) that I did snicker…:)…but only because I love you. I just have one question were these women lying on their backs with their hands under their butts and their toes pointing? I know for sure that they do not have breast implants because their boobs are in their arm pits…? Did they shave their pubic hair? Do you have any Leonardo drawing books? There are awesome full body drawings in those books and you can get great ideas for practice from them…if you don’t have any of those books you can check them out at the library…maybe I will just send you a figure drawing book…since I probably have about 20 of the them…would that be ok? You go girl…I am so proud of your drawing skills…this is awesome…luv u mum
