Welcome to my world.

I’ve been painting hair with the little curls for a while now, but never showed them to you. I was thinking about how it is too cutesy, too cartoonish, too funky. Oh and a little weird.

Since I have decided not to care about all of that I am having so much fun! I love her curls. Fun and funky! Oh and she is just deliciously imperfect.

The ideas are flowing, the painting is fun again, and the feeling of freedom is such a relief.

These pages were ‘glued’ together when I smeared some paint on them not remembering I had mixed in gloss medium with the paint. I gently, and then with a little more enthusiasm ripped them apart. I just love the texture this caused. Not to mention the wrinkles from the previous page.
