Speak Your Truth – Art Journal Pages

I recently commented on another artists blog about her thoughts on the overuse of the word bliss. I had to agree.

I am now seeing it in commercials on TV, hearing it from women while shopping, and of course, all of the artist blogs talking about this or that being bliss.

That is a heck of a lot of bliss going on. A little too much I think.

Now I am all for being happy and for thinking positive. It never hurts to put out into the universe what you want back into your life. But everything just isn’t blissful. Well, ok, if you love snow and cold and winter dragging out longer, then yea, right now you may be experiencing bliss.

I’m just happy. Not blissful, not perfect… just plain jane happy. Thank you very much.
