Whimsical Palm Tree – Mixed-media painting

Something a little different for me but still within my current theme of nature, my love of Florida and all things tropical.

I have been painting little palm trees. Winter has hung on too long and I needed some sunshine and tropical imagery to warm things up a bit.

Palm trees are so much fun to draw and I have endless amounts of inspiration growing all around me. I added the fun little border on this one to give it that bit of whimsy you would find if I were painting it for a beach lover here.
