• In my art journal – Daydreaming

Posted on May 28, 2010 by in Art Journals

Once I had a few big dreams. I worked hard and achieved it all. After I had everything I wanted I was very happy.

But life is not a constant and much has changed. None of what I thought was important, none of what I gained is what I want anymore.

I’m not saying it wasn’t worth it, or that I don’t appreciate my life. It was and I do.

However, life is a never ending forward motion and change happens.

I believe dreams realized should lead us to new dreams. I believe that failure lies in giving up. And that success lies in pushing forward.

So these days, instead of a few really big dreams, I have lots of little dreams that build upon each other and never leave me bored or finished. Everyday sees one dream come true and brings to light a new one.

When this life is over I hope to have lived many of my little dreams and to have a whole bushel of dreams I am still pushing for, right to the very end. It will mean I lived to the fullest and that I never quit.

    This I believe.
