• sueño del verano – today’s painting

Almost impossible to capture the depth of this painting.

I gave it a super glossy finish which really brings out the layers and gives the sky a three dimensional appearance.

It is disappointing to me that you really can’t see it in the photos.

The photo of the painted edge gives the best hint due to the perspective so I am including it here as a thumbnail that you can click to see the full image.

I will list this one on Etsy later today. The colors are my favorite deep inky blue and a nice rich red-orange.

    About the art:

Painted with acrylic, watercolor and artist inks on wooden panel.

Measures 12 inches high by 11.25 inches wide and 1 inch deep.

The edges are finished in the red-orange with an overall generous coat of glossy varnish.

I have attached a hanger to the back of the wooden panel so there is no need to frame this.

It is ready to hang on your wall.

The title is in Spanish and means “summer dream”.
