Today’s Painting – Bosque Prohibido

Not traditional apple trees, just my interpretation of them. The red and apple green together makes this piece really pop. And the light blues and mossy greens in the background give it a magical feeling.

About this painting: 12″ x 12″ x 2″ gallery wrapped canvas. Acrylics, watercolors and artists permanent ink. The background is layered papers that peak through in a few areas to give just a hint of mixed-media interest. The edges are painted a very flat dark gray, almost black. This painting will be available on my etsy this weekend.
