Currently untitled. If you have a title suggestion please leave a comment. She is painted in oil on wooden panel. The texture is from applying paper napkin to the surface before painting. Little ones are rather difficult for me to paint. Not enough life lived yet to leave that knowledge in their eyes. This little one she spoke to me about sandcastles and pretty waves and feeding the seagulls.

    Lovely expression!

Christy, I think you captured a rare feeling in those little eyes. I would call her “Wary”. She looks wise beyond her years, and I have met children like her. I want her!

I know you want her Peggy. She is in oil so she can not leave until she is dry. I will not sell her before contacting you ;) And yes, I think Wary should be the title. Thank you!
