Madonna with Child – Original cold wax painting

With the final top coat of wax fully dry and hardened this piece is now available for purchase for $75.00 in my ArtFire studio. This was the first completed painting done in oils with cold wax.

The texture and depth of the layers of wax and color are remarkable. The subject matter is both iconic and modern. Originally based on a renaissance painting and a part of my current series on renaissance Madonna subjects.
