Spanish Forests in Cold Wax and Oils

In the cold wax class I created two abstract backgrounds to show process. I have had them sitting off to the side allowing the wax and oils to harden/dry.

This weekend I decided create some abstract Spanish forests to add to my ongoing series.

I also wanted to experiment with color blending and glazing thin coats of oils over the dry background colors.

And investigate with painting over the bits of bronze foil and combining lines and marks from background to foreground.

I learned a lot and will be experimenting again as soon as I get more wood panels to work on with the wax.
