Somebody forgot to tell my kitty about daylight savings.
Since I was up early I started painting right away. I love to paint when the house is quiet, and mornings are the best because there is actual light. Nights are good, but the light is entirely artificial and I prefer natural light when I can get it.
This painting is a bit of folk art sweetness and I really enjoyed creating this girl. I had a wonderful birthday yesterday and am still basking in the happy glow.
I’m taking the rest of the day off and plan to nap very shortly. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
