I create art journal pages each day as a way to record the elements of my life. It is a visual, written, and sometimes photographic record of me.

As many of you know I love certain symbols and use them repeatedly. One is a particular type of tree, one is the fleur de lis and stars. I have found that my most recent symbol is the lollipop flower. Generally I find myself creating them when I am looking for or wanting to recreate my mood reflecting peace and growth.

My art journal page yesterday represents just that feeling I was experiencing when I sat down to journal.
