Well we are officially on day 3 of 30 Days of Art Journaling and I am loving it. My students are inquisitive and brave and trying out new things each day. They are sharing their works of art over on our flickr group and it is such an inspiration to me.
We seem to be a good mix of beginners, intermediates and advanced art journalers. Everyone’s personal style is showing through whether they are following the video along or just taking the prompt and running with it.
I am having so much fun chatting with them and seeing what they come up with. And for me the best part is the question and answer aspect of this class. I love nothing more than sharing what I know with other artists. Knowing that they are going to take that information and use it and push the boundaries of what they are given into what they know.
So far a prompt a day has been going well but it may be a bit overwhelming when everyone is so busy with life online and offline. Good thing we have 90 days to get the prompts done!
Registration is open for 2 more days, come and play with us!
Here are my finished pages for the first 3 days:
I’m certain I am not alone when I say that I’m loving your class and finding it inspiring and just the right kick in the pants I needed to get going in my art journal again. Thanks for doing this class.
