Wisdom comes to us from the most unlikely sources. And many times you assess a situation and think you see the lesson in it clearly. And yet, the obvious lesson isn’t really the one you needed. It is the lesson that wasn’t as obvious that you needed and you have to experience the moment in full before you are able to see the true lesson, and hopefully find the wisdom in it.

Some wisdom only comes from experience and from time. One truth learned adds to, and mixes with, truths you already have, to give you a deeper understanding. To give you new wisdom.

As much as we may think we already know so much, we never really stop learning. And in this world, where technology changes the very essence of communication there are new lessons to be discovered.

I have always believed that change is good and that change is necessary. Life is not static. We are always learning and we are always living. So I embrace my new knowledge and I try to find the beauty in even the most confounding of lessons.

It can be a painful thing, or it can be a thing of growth and challenges and even humor. I choose to see it so.

With my new found wisdom I have realized that I need to blog more and social media less. I’m sure you might have noticed this change. I will share less and yet I will share so much more. More me and less pure inspiration.

A desire to step back and let the people around me have more opportunity to inspire themselves. And to make room for them to be inspired by others more eager to have that position.

My muse is calling me to create and when she is sated I will be back here to share with you what she and I have done. The finished piece. And maybe, just a little bit, of the magic in between. But not all of it, not anymore!

  1. I have no idea what has happened to make you feel this way, but I, for one, feel very sad about this. Your videos were always such an inspiration to me, even though I still have not had the courage to try to do anything like you do. I hope you find your happy place again and feel free to just create. Don’t let anyone block your way! *HUGS*

I just wanted to let you know, that your work is truly inspirational. I happened to stumble on a youtube video, and immediately bought a tube of caulk to use for texture. Please know that you are appreciated by many who are trying to find their artistic voice. Remain blessed in all that you do.
