In this life there really are no guarantees and the ones we think we have we usually do not. Don’t take anything for granted. And when you want a guarantee sometimes you have to get out there and work for it, make it happen, demand it.
In many ways it is the American way. Our country was founded on making life work for us. On setting aside certain guarantees [rights] for our people. If we want to keep them, we have to demand them, we have to work for them and we have to fight for them.
