DAJP – Just 4 Fun

The second half of yesterdays page and another page with no hidden meanings. Just play for the sake of it. Playing with pattern and shape and color. Although I will admit I love avocado and never thought to add some sweet salsa over it. I will have to try this.

I was still playing with the colors from the facing page [yesterday] but starting to really have fun with patterns. I found the black and white image in a book and loved the way the pattern looked. I grabbed my favorite handmade stencil and was going to attempt to recreate the image with it but got lost playing with varying the lines almost like a scanner line. It is so easy to get lost in something that you entirely forget your initial intention.

I really love the palette here and this page, even though it doesn’t have a lot of meaning, is one of my favorites.
