Here is the other page about Italy and current world affairs. What a mess we have created. And yet, it can be fixed. It can be turned around and used as a lesson of what we need to do and how we need to go forward.

For great change to happen, there is always resistance. That is what comes to mind when I think about what is happening all across the world right now. When I think of austerity measures {ok, after I shudder} I think that without this level of pressure on us we would probably never resist. We would just continue on raising children into debt before they ever finish college. We would continue thinking that a McMansion was the real end result of this game of life.

With change there is always resistance. And in that resistance lies the true end result. We are all human and we are all one and we must care for the other. Lest we all fall!

For true change to take place we have to get a little uncomfortable first.
