DAJP #2 More Oils In My Art Journal

Still playing around with mixing acrylics and oils for portraits.

I originally painted a side portrait on this page. It was really awful. So I collaged over it and painted a straight on view. I usually leave the pages alone even when I don’t like them. But in this case, I had frustrated myself so much that I gave in to my inner child and painted over it.

I did spend some time on this with the oils and blending and I even gave her a bit of eyeshadow. Which is something I never do but my daughter recently asked me to try some. Just to see how it looked and if I liked it.
