I have a new collection of digital collage sheets for use in art journals, scrap books or your own artwork. These sheets are directly from my art journal and using my own personal handmade stencils.

I just finished setting up a new section in the store called Folk Art Collection which is a series of digital collage sheets you can use as borders, rip up and use just the parts you like, or use the full sheets as a background to start your pages with. Here are a few detail crops from the collection:

When you purchase a digital collage sheet you receive a pdf file that will print on a standard ink jet printer at letter size. These are high resolution images (300 dpi). Did you know you can pull the image into Photoshop by simply opening the pdf from within Photoshop? In that way you can use the images in your digital art work, or crop parts of the image to print out and use in your journal.

New Store and more fun borders for you

I am slowly bringing over the items from my previous online shop and am adding in new products. Today I added in 10 new border sheets for collage, art journals or any mixed-media art. Decay – A foray into photography

Occasionally I manage to get out and take a few photos. Not often. Over on the Lovin Mixed-Media Ning group there is a photo challenge to find the beauty in decay. This is a favorite theme of mine; finding the beauty in destruction. I put together a small set of photos over on flickr and set them to creative commons so that other artists can feel free to use them in their art. You can view the photos here.

I injured my left shoulder. I am left-handed. I can barely paint. Just raising my arm high enough to type this is painful. It is going to be a long miserable weekend if I can not paint.
